Erika Pawley Director Strategic Planning, Greater Sydney Commission

As the Director of Strategic Planning, Erika leads the Greater Sydney Commission’s Collaboration Areas program. She has extensive experience in strategic planning, with a career in local government spanning more than 18 years.

Erika is currently using her expertise to facilitate a place-based approach to solving complex urban challenges for key centres across Sydney, by bringing together multiple and diverse stakeholders to find and document workable solutions to these issues.

Prior to her current role, Erika was the Manager - Place Outcomes for Rockdale City Council, where she received a 2016 NSW PIA Awards Commendation for the Rockdale Town Centre Masterplan in the From Plan to Place category. 

Erika is a member of the Planning Institute of Australia and an Executive Committee Member of the UTS MBA Women’s Network.
